I'm back after a 3 week vacation
to
I've begun a new section called
'Beginner's Corner'. This is meant to be an educational area to provide
interesting elementary material on Russian Numismatics. Because of their
immense popularity, I started off with a page showing how to read the Catherine
II 5 kopecks (here).
If any members would like to
contribute something please do, otherwise its going to look like a Russian
Copper corner !!
Added the Guestbook on the
front page [2005 : removed]

Page and Gallery have now been added and will be
expanded going forward.
All remaining Journals are now
available for online purchase! As always, please send any errors &/or
comments to me. Also thank you to those who have already bought Journals
through the website.

Today I received the remaining
set of Journals (1-58) from Jim Elmen. This means I can start the process of
completing the list of those available for purchase online. Copies of JRNS
59-71 were orginally offered on July 23rd. Please be patient as the remaining
Journals are added in! It takes a while to manually change each HTML page
with the right links to Paypal and link the new page into the RNS web site. If
there's a particular back issue you can't wait to have, send me an email and
I'll add online ability as soon as I can.
We are pleased to now offer an online option of ordering & buying past Journals (here)

The Single-Page Full Index to
the Journal has now been added.
Welcome to the new on-line home of
our Society! In the months to come I hope that the site will expand and will be
visited by many RNS members and guests. It's an exciting start!
The first order of business was to say who we are, why we are, and where we are! Please feel free to contact the Journal Editors Bob Julian and Alex Basok regarding Journal articles past, present and future; Peggy and Jim Elmen for matters Secretarial; and myself, Steve Moulding, for comments and suggestions regarding the web site. All relevant contact information is on the front page.
The next project was a 'Complete' Journal index online. This is now well underway. The index will be 'complete' in as much as the title of every article from Journals 59 forward will be included. For Journals 1-58 I have compiled individual Contents Pages from Ran Zander's Cumulative Index sheets. Please notify me of any errors that might have occurred during my transcription process...my typing is far from perfect! I hope soon to have a one page summary index in chronological order. There you will be able to find every article title in one place. I also plan have a number of Journal Index by Subject pages.
I'll also be creating a distribution list of email addresses that I will use to notify members regarding additions to the site. Please let me know if you would would like to be added to / removed from this list.
Once again welcome! and watch this space for further developments!
